I am working on words that are common to various cultures and need as many words as possible with their meanings...Right now i am considering 'PRESENT URDU or ARABIC words as possibly derived from SANSKRIT'

Arabic is derived from the Aramaic root (language Jesus spoke), that's why Assyrian (modern Aramaic) and Arabic have similar words, they both have Aramaic as its root.

I suppose Urdu words with roots in Sanskrit are those which are also present in Hindi. Arabic and Farsi words are also there in Urdu and Hindi. I don't know if Arabic contains any Sanskrit words. Both are old languages. If there are common words, how can we say whether the word went from Sanskrit to Arabic, or it was the other way round?
