Best Friends don't buy expensive jewelry for each other it sounds to me like you are spending Way too much on her. Unless you are trying to impress her go for the less pricey gifts. As for her owing you money, ask her to pay it back in amounts that she can handle if that doesn't work you may as well write that money off as a gift or several gifts.

I think she is using you for good gifts. Pick something at a reasonable price range, personal, yet something obviously not expensive. Let her know that you are on to her tactics, without being obvious or rude about it. I know that price does not matter, but eventually it gets to a point that makes you look like a chump and guess what.....chump!

Well, why is she giving you less expensive gifts? Is it because she can't afford it or because she just gives cheap gifts? If she can't afford it, then keep spending the regular range. If she can, then spend in her range. Bluetooth is a GREAT idea, but how expensive is it? Spend in her range if she's just straight up cheap.

Its up to you to decide, what appropriate gift for her. Price is not important as long as it comes in the heart.
