give up his cockpit to Hani Hanjour who was 5'2" tall, not to mention the co-pilot, and are we also to believe that Hani Hanjour calmly flew the plane for 40 minutes in a cockpit drenched in blood before hitting the Pentagon? there is something about September 11th that really stinks, and I am not talking about terrorists.

It's because it's all a lie. That's why it smells bad...you obviously have a good nose, and if you'd like to follow it to reality try visiting rense.com or prisonplanet.com and begin your research. It'll take some time but the images and words you will see will interest and enrage you. And, as I feel I need to edit this considering the "answers" before me... Are you all really that naive? There is no man alive that would allow what is ultimately a midget with a box-cutter to take over an entire jet. Wake up. Be well, Jack

OK. You need to take a look at the cockpit of a plane. It is a cramped area for a normal sized man, let alone someone 6'5". The pilot and co-pilot have their backs to the door. Are strapped into their seats. Some one breaks through the door. There is no room for the pilot or co-pilot to maneuver to fight off an attack. A slash to the throat from behind with a box cutter, and the victim bleeds out in just a few seconds. The plane in all likelihood was on auto pilot at the time. The bodies were removed from their seats and Hanjour flies the plane.

You watch too much TV. Get a grip..............

I don't care if you're 3 feet tall or 10 feet tall, when someone threatens your life you're going to do what they say! The pilots and passengers were told by the terrorist that they weren't going to be hurt as long as they did what they were told! Many passengers confirmed that they were told that as they talked to love ones on their cellphones, and the air traffic controllers heard similar conversations.
Let's see how big of a fight you would put up if you were responsible for an entire plane full of people and someone was telling you that they were going to kill everyone on board if you didn't turn over the controls. The victims on those planes had no idea who they were dealing with that day! We have all seen terrorist take over planes before and just use them to get what they want without killing every person on board, how did anyone know this was going to be any different?
What stinks about 9/11 is people like you who insist on trying to put the blame on everyone but the terrorist who were behind it. It's a slap in the face to every person who was killed that day and their families.

Realize some things.FAA regulations require pilots to be seatbelted at all times while they are sitting in the cockpit. The seatbelts the pilots use include shoulder harnesses.Cockpit doors were not required to be locked.Often they were open during flights. It would be very easy for anyone to burst in to the cockpit and slash both pilots throats before they had any time to react. At 6'5" it would be incredibly difficult to move around anyway.Just to get in to the seat you have to be bent over and step over the center control console. His size would have been a hinderence more then a asset.Sit in your car move the seat all the way forward close the door put on your seatbelt put a box on the set next to you, then try to defend yourself against someone attacking you from the back seat.If that happened to you by surprise the only thing stinking might be your pants.

1. Because Hani Hanjour and another 4 dudes STABBED HIM WITH A KNIFE

2. Hani Hanjour and his confederates were PROFESSIONAL TERRORISTS on what they thought was a "mission from God" - so of course they could handle a little blood (after all, he was just 40 minutes away from "paradise" and 72 virgins!)

Obviously, you've never talked to a soldier and, in a manner of speaking, that's exactly what Hani Hanjour was, a "soldier" in a homicidal army of terrorists! It was his job to kill "jews and crusaders" on behalf of al-Qaeda and he'd spent the better part of the last year training to do just that!

As for the pilot, he was an average citizen, an American pilot who got up that morning and just expected to do a routine flight, land out in California, do a bit of shopping have some lunch and retire to his hotel room to rest up for the trip home - he never expected to be on the recieving end of a murderous terrorist attack.

Also, at the time, FAA standard operating procedure for flight crew in the event of hijackings was for them to COOPERATE WITH THE HIJACKERS TO PREVENT PASSENGER INJURIES. so Captain Burlingame was doing his job by doing what the hijackers told him to do. He probably didn't even fight them until it was clear that he was going to be stabbed and at that point, sadly it was too late!

REALITY CHECK - the conspiracy theories are wrong, al-Qaeda did the 9/11 attacks - wake up and smell the coffee!

If you are 500 lbs. , and someone has a knife, one good cut and the fight for you is over. Think about it....size or girth don't mean sqat when you're up against someone with a weapon and knowledge on how to use it. Fear may have gripped them as well, after-all, the doors didnt use to lock until this happened, so...
please don't think it was a cover-up or a conspiracy, this is disrespectful to those lost on that day in my opinion.
Hundreds of the victims were police and firefighters...its a dishonor to them.

The threat of a bomb and the presence of knives. If a terrorists says I have a bomb and will explode it if you don't do what I say then what would you do. Sacrifice yourself and the passengers on the chance he won't. Come on. It's not like the terrorist said "Pardon me, surrender your seat to me so that I might fly this plane into a building, please. I have no weapon or means of coercing you but I do hope you'll honor my request. Thank you."

Safety of the passengers comes first, he would let king kong fly the plane if he said the passengers would be bombed if he didnt. Yes it is all very fishy, even those two guys that flew into the twin towers, apparently its not easy to fly a plane in a straight line, makes you think!

I suspect a knife or bullet in the back may have had something to do with it. And yes, i do believe that someone who is capable of flying a plane into a building is capable of flying it perfectly calmly even when drenched with blood.

So what's your theory?

Something stinks alright. I'm not saying that planes did not hit the twin towers or the pentagon. But consider this:
The vast majority of the passengers on all the planes did not have social security numbers.
We all know USA is the sue nation of the world-so why virtually no compensation claims by victims families?
Why is the hole in the side of the pentagon a lot smaller than the jet that's "hit" it?
How did the twin towers manage to collapse so gracefully as would a controlled demolition implosion especially as they were designed to withstand aircraft impact?
There are websites out there.
