Jonathan ~
In my opinion, any fighter with a decent jab can beat Jeff "I only throw a decent Left Hook" Lacy. His last fight this past weekend was suppose to be his coming out party, but he looked completely flat and came very close to losing the fight. Everyone wants to say he hurt his left shoulder in the second round but what difference does that make?

In the first round and the second Jeff was catching Vitali Tsypko with the straight right hand, but to Tsypko's credit he made adjustments and stopped getting caught with Lacy's right hand, it would have been the same thing if Jeff were landing his big left hook. Tsypko was a way better fighter than Lacy expected and should be given credit for a gutsy performance and Jeff should looked at as questionable.

They say (who they are, I'll never know) that alls it takes is one fight for a fighter to be forever changed, that they lose it right there in the ring before every ones eyes, maybe Joe Calzaghe's fight with Jeff was that fight, maybe Jeff is damaged goods. Jeff Lacy's style is too one dimensional to not have one punch knockout power, which he doesn't have.

I always liked Jeff, he was a exciting fighter, but right now at this stage in his career, he's getting hit way too much and he's not competing on the same level he was two years ago.

Joe Calzaghe easily beat him, Vitali Tsypko beat him too, but he got robbed in the end. Mikkel Kessler would school him without any problems as well and against Denis Inkin he would literally get murdered inside five rounds. I could think of at least five more people that could deal with Lacy, one sided and pretty much incomplete fighter that he is at this moment and you should really have a reality check on this friend.

Joe Calzaghe beat the crap out of him!!!!! Jeff "left hook" Lacy needs to find more overall boxing skills before he can be considered the best in his own weight class, let alone the world

Calzaghe whipped him from the first round to the twelve round. It was no contest. Jeff Lacy is DEFINITELY not the best fighter in the world, he's not even the best fighter in his weight division.

Jeff has a lot of deficiencies. The only thing he brings to the table is a good left hook. One dimensional fighters are easily exposed. The surprising thing to me is he's only fought 24 pro fights and already, in my opinion he looks old.

Jeff Lacy's comeback is poor. Tsypko could have KO'd him in the later rounds.
