go to your start menu, and in the box click run, and type in regedit
and the task manager will open up, then let it go through the entire regristry, and remove all temp files and previous programs this should correct the problem, and you may also want to try a system restore if problem prestist.

I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. The best PC cleaner and antivirus program is PC Health Boost, it's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate.

It's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than nomal. Download it here for free: http://www.pcboostsoftware.com

Click Start>Run>type in "msconfig" (without the quotes">Startup. Now you can uncheck anything that you do not want to startup. Be careful since most of the things there will be needed. You can also get a good list of what is unnecessary to startup by running your pc through a scan at http://www.pcpitstop.com/. It will give you suggestions on what you can do to improve performance.

Download the newest version of
CCleaner 1.35.424 from
http://ccleaner.com/download/downloadpage.aspx?1

Source(s):

http://www.ccleaner.com/

PS: DO NOT USE REGISTRYCLEANER OR USE REGEDIT
because they delete system files and cause ur PC to CRASH!!
I REPEAT DO NOT do THAT or u will never be able to use ur comp again...

Hope that answers your question...
