thats horrible...first thing i would do it make a visit to my family doctor. Maybe he could give you something to sleep...and refer you to a therapist...you may have some underlying issues that are preventing you from sleeping....that or you just drink to much coffee.....:D

It sounds like you have night terrors. There are dreams. There are bad dreams. There are nightmares, which is more sever than a bad dream and then there are night terrors which is worse than a nightmare and can be so tramatic that your mind blocks out the memory.

Stay away from Steven King or horror flicks before bedtime. If you do watch TV before bed, stay away from the news and dramas and choose something more light hearted. Romantic comedy or some other feel good movie. Try to develope an attitude that will allow you not to worry about little stuff. Don't eat or drink anything 2 hours before bedtime and avoid arguments before going to bed. If you have a TV in the bedroom, take it out or don't watch it. Try to get on a schedule of prebedtime activities. A hot shower or bath to relax you, brush your teeth and maybe a little light reading. Give you mind the opportunity to wind down before trying to get some sleep. If you get into a routine, then these activities will be signals to your brain to prepare for sleep. Watching TV in the bedroom gives your brain mixed signals. You put on your pj's as as a signal to start to sleep, but then you watch TV to stay awake... Not good. If you listen to music, anything that makes you feel like dancing should be avoided. Something more on the lines of elevator music will help you sleep. Remember, something dull will lull you to sleep if it is interesting, then you will want to stay awake. Movies or shows you like to watch or music you like to listen to will keep your mind stimulated so you try to stay awake to the point of exhaustion. If you are near exhaustion, you will have a restless sleep.

Seems that you have insomnia. Insomnia happens only if you are facing in sleeping difficulties, having stress and pressure , and having family and relationship problems. So, eating the sleeping pills is bad for body and I suggest you should not eat that. Maybe you should drink more water before sleep, exercise more, and go for spa, body message and foot reflexology. If non of these works, then i suggest you should see a psychologist or a counselor to calm down or relax yourself. Try not to drink those drinks that are really harm ur body such as coffee, coke and alcoholic drinks.
