my boyfriend is 32 and pretty much has everything! if he wants something he goes out and buys it...we've been together for about 4 months, but 2 of those we haven't seen each other because he's been away (learning to be a pilot). So we don't know each other very well but text or email each other everyday. I want to get him something for christmas but I'm not sure what, or how much to spend. He likes all the usual stuff, music, films, video games, planes! Any ideas very gratefully received!

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the two of us together :( and I don't know his shoe size!!! We're pretty close, but don't really know much about each other in terms of sizes, favourite bands etc! Thinking about an experience day... but thats a lot to spend I think, and not sure what he's spending on me. It'll be akward if i spend loads and he doesn't :s

You guys haven't been together in a while and the relationship practically just started. If things are serious between the two of you, it is very likely that he misses you. Get him something that'll remind him of you. Sometimes the smallest of things have BIG meaning. I think he'd be happy with a framed picture of BOTH of you. It'll remind him of how happy he was when he was with you and he'll look forward toward being with you once again after he's through with his schooling. If you feel like the picture isn't enough, matching bracelets with your name on his and vice versa, and a nice bottle of cologne (Jean Paul Gaultier) would be a great addition along with a heart warming Hallmark card. Happy Holidays & Best Of Wishes ;-)

At 32, he's probably old/mature enough to appreciate a thoughtful gift. My boyfriend(husband now) was 30 when I did this idea for him. I bought a gift for every letter in his name. For example his name is Steve. I bought him something that started with 'S', and 'T', and 'E' and so on. I put them in individual bags and put each letter of his name on a bag and spelled his name under the Christmas Tree. It was pretty easy, it didn't cost a lot and he appreciated the thought and effort it took to be that creative. I also wrote a little poem on the back of each bag.

Good luck!!

maybe you can bake something for him! cos i m sure he will appreciate it! but if you dont want to appear to be cliche, maybe you can like frame up a photo and name him as '(your name)'s sexist man or something like' like presenting him an award. I am sure he cant buy all that whenever he goes out(= hope this helps you!

Men are only interested in one thing.(HINT< HINT)

If he is training to be a pilot the "Mile High Club" would be a great present.
