Mexican immigrant's are the ones who are unhappy, not any other immigrant's that I know, and have talked with. They're angry that the American's have finally stood up, and told them NO! You cannot have your illegal families come here and suck the life out of American taxpayers! We American's allowed it for too long, and the illegals, and the legal immigrants from mexico, thought coming to USA was a free ride. Now, that they know it isn't, and we're going to stop them, they're ticked off. They haven't any right to feel that way, but they do. Suddenly, they think we are wrong for wanting to protect our people and our children from harms they commit towards us. American's are patient, but when we have had enough bad treatment, we've had ENOUGH! And all the people who misuse our generosity will KNOW it!

I agree with the person above. There's even a city in Texas not far from me that just made a law that's going to be starting up in January or February that's going to go door to door and request papers from everyone to see if there legal and suppost to be here. It got such an uproar when it was being talked about by the mayor that basically the town split in half, most white people were on the other side of a street and mexicans were on the other side. And the white people put up signs saying "we love LEGAL immigrants". And the mexicans basically called it rascism and they're taking it to court. ^.^ It's pretty interesting to see how everything's going to go. I hope everything works because it might spread out to surrounding cities and change might work.

Because this country presents itself as a haven and a welcoming place to all when it is anything but that. Just read the answers you get to this question.. The Great American way.
I think illegal immigration is wrong and we need to do something to stop it. But I also think that we should not be nasty to people who think this country is so great that they are willing to break the law to be in it. Whether its for money or not, after all, the legal citizens of big business are making sure our pockets stay empty too.

I am happy despite the fact that everyday illgal immigrants get disrespected like the native americans from the past. We are all human beings and should be respected as such, but despite all the descrimination we are all happy because we know we can all give a better lifes to our families.

I think you need to divide the catogory! Why are illegal immigrants so unhappy! They want Americans to change the laws. However why bother having laws if anyone can step on american soil and have the laws made a new for them.
