I can write a book. I bet if anyone really wanted to they could write a book too.

Especially a group of people. I bet they could make up a hell of a story.

So how could a book, that anyone could write, prove god exists?

GENERALLY SPEAKING:
I don’t feel that a book proves that God exists, I feel it is the things around us and the fact “WE” exist that proves this! Just as man (out of purpose) has used his intelligence and has taken materials from the earth to create “things” and he works to improve the purpose and function of those “things” so is our Creator (God) working to improve us!
The questions that one can arouse within themselves at different stages in life like, what is my purpose? Why am I here? Our internal drive for purposeful action can result in proof enough that there must be a higher power (God).

We (people), out of ignorance may question the existence of God, but what is the foundation that backs this question? Have you truly searched within yourself for the answer? At any point within our lives we may just go there with this question but it’s the chance of being made a “fool” that keeps me from expressing this doubt and I would not look to “man” for the answer!

What does a person expect from a God (Creator) that has given him/her “choices”? If you look at the puzzle pieces in life and the parables associated like this one for instance, “When you do good things then good things happen and when you do bad things then bad things happen” Apparently the Bible directs our moral coding no matter who wrote the book! This is fact within all our lives! These are truths that are in that book you may question. If you ponder on the question “does God exist?” I would say YOU have not earnestly searched for the answer!

If you begin to believe that God does not exist, then you must have proof and should be able to share that with us. If the infantile question comes to mind “how can a God allow the awful things to happen in this world?" remember I said earlier that “WE”, as human beings, could make “choices”. God is not the culprit here with the “bad things” that happen; it is man and his (God given) choices. If one (Atheist) states “God does not exist?” Please share your knowledge and make us believe this since you must have more intelligence and know where you and this world came from! Give me your facts! I will continue to search for the answer to my existence and act accordingly with purposeful action in life.

The “Bible” is our instruction manual and trouble-shooting guide.

One that rejects the Bible and its contents is one that feels condemnation from its truths. Just as you search for your answers here and look for acceptance from like minded people to reassure you that your individual path is worthy so are many others who believe in the Bible and are making great strides in working with it’s truths and their purposeful action in improving the world we live in by believing in God. Our relationship with God is truly a personal one. Reject him as you do your fellow man and be rejected in the end (another parable). May your creator be with you and continue to feed your soul with what it needs to survive! As a mother to a child, it goes on and on. Good luck with your search for truth.

There are many books that give evidence that God exists.
Seriously. Do a search of them on Amazon. You can start with Josh McDowell and Lee Strobel.
As for the Bible, do you HONESTLY think that a group of people varying from kings all the way down to common shepherds, who wrote the Bible in a time period of 1500 years, over three continents, in three different languages could TRULY write the same thing? Most of them didn't even know each other.
Chew on that for awhile.

Because, there are prophesies in the Bible that came true(the prophesies were not like Nostradamus' prophesies, they came true down to the very name and places(see Messianic passages, they all describe when, were and how Jesus Christ would be born)) also, archaeological evidence is popping up every were that proves the historical across of the Bible. If four people testified in court that a certain person existed and that that person did things, that court would take what they said as truth, and remember these people were threaten with death if they did not bow before leaders(Danial, Meshach(Mishael), Shadrach(Hannaniah), Abed-Nego(Azariah) and the followers of Christ come to mind) should that not be evidence enough to convince you. God is real, He sent His Son(which is Him) to die for YOU!

The Bible attempts to tell us where to find God, how to get to Him where He is. There is really no question, Biblically, that God exists: He does, no doubt.

Writing a book is to provide information or enterainment, or both. The Holy Bible is an informative collection of ways to connect with God, but Faith is the key.

Could you write the history of the world a thousand years before it happens? I don't think so. Four world empires were decreed and their respective splits, and four world empires with the splits occured.

Now that we can trust the prophetic nature of the bible, maybe we can trust its overall message of salvation through Jesus Christ. In fact, we had better.

The bible starts with the assumption that the reader is not foolish enough to question God's existence when it states, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Not anyone can write the words of God, only those who are especially chosen.

It doesn't. Even Jesus said "lift a stone and I'll be there". He went on to say you don't need a building, just look inside yourself.
A lot of people want to believe the Bible is the basis for Christianity, but thats not true.
Jesus Christ is the Basis for Christianity and the only Basis. The bible really serves the same purpose as cliff notes.

It's not "The Book" either The Qur'an or The Bible that proves God exists, it's everything around you. This beauty and complexity.
Hold on I'll give you a link to one of my questions, I made a good analogy.

personally, i believe in a higher power, an energy that is collective, can be defined as Good Order of Decision(GOD). i don't belive that everything in the bible is credible. i think that it is just used to give you an idea of somethings you can do to get closer to god,but people have altered it... its been around for how long and people still think that everyword is original, every human has an opinin and people think that nobody would think of altering it as many times as it has been re-written and not change it to where it would benefit the collective church...yeah right! to many people put jesus in place of GOD and/or actually think of jesus as god,and in that , you could think that jesus is the devil, what a perfect deception! he tells everyone the secrects of getting close to god, but also tells the people other thing like if you don't do it this way your a sinner, perfect plan also... give the humans thing that they can seperate each other with, make it to were they think that they are doing gods bidding because he knows that god with let the humans be who they be because part of what jesus tells the humans is true but with flaw so that they may never be one with god. thus god has to take the people that didn't go along with jesus and saw thru the division of mankind

Hey i feel the same way i have always asked that question to.I think it is just a book for people to use for excuses like oh it must have been the devil cause god says he isn't evil .I think it is just something for some people to believe in when all has failed .A book isn't enough for me to believe what is true or NOT.Like u said anyone can write a story.

If you were able to prophesy events hundreds of years before, yes, ppl might believe you. But the Bible's already done it. Jesus' birth was prophesied long before it happened. Jesus prophesied that He would die and rise again three days. He compared Himself to Jonah, who was swallowed in a fish for three days until it spat him out. Then Jesus was swallowed by the grave, and came back after three days.

The fact that Jesus rose again gives His word a lot of credit and proves He is God.

It's supposed to be a divine revelation-a complex framework of alleged miracles and prophecies etc. that foretell the coming of a Messiah.
