According to some, certain colours promote certain feelings and wearing a particular colour can either help or hinder a particular situation.
If someone was to give an important presentation to a room full of his/her peers, what colour would promote confidence and/or authority?

BTW:
I am pretty confident about the pressentation but as they say, "Every Little Helps"!
I remember wearing yellow into exams because a friend recommended it so that's why I'm interested in other colour tricks.

In answer to King (see below):
No, it's not a religion and spirituality question. It was supposed to be in "Mythology and Folklore" but somehow it has been misplaced.

Blue is an excellent colour for communication as it is associated with the throat chakra. Wearing a blue tie or necklace is good for this purpose.

Red is a colour that confident opt for. Not sure about authority though, probably a darker colour, how about a red tie with a black shirt?
Good luck with your presentation!

I'm not a color therapist, but I read some where that red gives the feeling of anger and power in the same time, yellow for jealousy, green and white for peace.

OK, I found this in one of my books. I wont list the ones that have nothing to do with your situation
Red... power, determination, attracts good luck
Orange... the will to succeed, optimism
Yellow... achievment and learning, stimulates the mind
Gold... great achievement

I would suggest you wear what is usual for you and comfortable, but smart.
If i was to say wear purple - would you? Even if you hated it?
I think its much the safest and best to BE YOURSELF! (but smart)
