First of all, please be very clear that you are not asking a trick question.

Since you used God and Allah, I am assuming you are asking whether the God (Jehovah) that Christians and Jews believe in is the same as the Allah (God) that Muslims believe in.

Definitely not !

God has a begoton Son. His name is Jesus. That's in the Bible.

Allah has no begoton Son. It is blesphemy to say Allah has a son.

God spoke from heaven when Jesus was water baptised and said: " This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased"

This is contrary to the Koran which says over and over that God has no son.

Jesus said He is God : "He who has seen me (Jesus) has seen the Father."

Jesus also said :" I and my Father (God ) are one."

To Muslims, Jesus is only a prophet. No matter how highly they regard this prophet, he is certainly NOT God , according to the Koran.

Jesus said " I am the way, the truth and the life . No one comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus)."

Muslims say that Mohamed is the prophet who will lead them to the true God, not Jesus.

Examine all these carefully.

They cannot be talking about the same God.

God must be quite confused to separate two large groups of believers in a 'God' by saying to one group through
Jesus (His Son) and at some time later in history change His mind and tell another prophet to proclaim to the whole world that Allah is the only true God.

To put it bluntly, it is tantamount to asking all Christians to renounce their beliefs about Jesus and convert to Islam (if Islam is the truth), since Islam was founded much later than Christianity.

God is never confused.

Only man can be confused.

Satan can also confuse man by putting ideas into humans and making them leaders to lead people astray.

One of the religions, Christianity or Islam ,is a false religion.

They cannot be the same, the way I see it.

Please enlighten me if there is someone out there who can explain this paradox or confusion to me.

Fake currency always look very similar to the genuine one.

Otherwise, people will not be tricked into it if it is very different from the real thing.

Think about that for a while and let it sink into you.

You form your own conclusions.

NO - God is the Great I AM, Jehovah God, God Almighty, Savior, Lord, Jehovah Jireh. Allah is not any of these. Even Muslims say that Allah is not Jehovah God. You can KNOW Jehovah God and have a relationship with Him. You cannot know Allah and he is distant and cold.

allah is their word for god, but it is not the same god as jehovah in the bible....allah opposes jehovah, and people are considered unbelievers if they worship jehovah. ..just like people can believe in the office of the president, but who is he? Is it Bush, or Clinton, or Carter, or someone else? "god" is a title....but who is the person who has the title?....allah is not jehovah...so muslims have a different god from the christians and jews, who both believe in jehovah

Islam and Christianity believe that there is only one God and all other Gods are false.

So if Christians only believe in one God (Jehovah) and Muslims believe in one God (Allah) and any other God is false, this can only mean one of two things

1. They both worship the same God
2. One of the religions is worshiping a false God.

As neither religion will ever accept that they are worshipping a false God, only proposition 1 can be true.

They both worship the same God

From a religious point of view, Islam (which came after Christianity) says that the God of the Christians and the Muslims is the same, except that the Christians deviated.

God or Jehovah are no the same.

God is the Almighty, the One True God, the God of Abraham the God of King David and the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus.

While "Allah" is the figment of a deluded mans imagination and is another source that satan uses to misguide people into yet another false religion.

Know they are not. When you look at the Character of God as contained in the Bible vs. the character of Allah as contained in the Koran, you will see that they are completely different. They are also different in their respective attributes. Their standards of life, punishment for sin and reward in the afterlife are also different. It should be easy to note that one borrowed from the other. Not to sound basis (but i am) The Koran is not the full revelation of God as revealed to man.

The Muslims and followers of religions after Muhammad say yes; the Christians and followers of religons before Islam say no.
The reason is that the former religions did not use the word Allah.

Yes one and the same Allah means God in Arabic and it's the same God the Jews and the Christians believe in. All the three great religions accept the old testament, they might use different names for God depending on language, culture and tradition but it's the same entity.

Of course. God means Allah and Allah means God. It's really cool when you go to one of those Lebanese churches and they say "Ya Allah!" because it's just God in Arabic.

Now if you mean do we worship the same God - then yes, we do. Sam God of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The One and Only.
