Maybe there trying to show off if you do it in front of people or maybe they don't like you like that. I would always say yes to a guy if he was polite enough to ask me out and give it a shot. BUT only if i knew who he was.

The answer to your question could be a number of things it depends on how the girl acts! In some cases a girl will say no because she really isn't interested in talking to you or being "more than friends." Then she could be saying no because she is afraid to admit that she is interested because she is afraid it's some trick for you to crack a joke on her! The girl may be holding back and saying no for you to think you have a challenge which makes a guy more interested in a girl so you try harder and then she will eventually give in. There are a number of different reasons you just have to decide which one matches the girl the most and which answer most pertains to her personality!

I'm sure they don't ALWAYS say no. In fact, quite often, they say yes. I know I have.

Using "absolutes" like the words "always" and "never" makes it hard for people to communicate with you. Maybe you should rephrase your question to read something like, "I find that girls very often turn boys down when they ask them out. How can I get a girl to say yes?"

Good luck!

It's got to do with the way you ask it, when you ask or the girl simply doesn't feel the same way, and if she doesn't feel it it's better if she doesn't go out with you because that way you won't get hurt...
If you're going to ask a girl out it's better if you do it personally and with none of her friends around to pressure her into saying no or yes.

a) They're already taken
b) they believe in the theory 'treat em mena, keep em keen'
c) They like playing hard to get and want you to chase them
d) You might be trying too hard to ask them out (Girls don't like boys to be desparate)*

*DON'T proffer undying love always, or talk about marriage and/or babies when asking a girl out. Just act like friends with her at first, and see what happens from there.

Women mostly have pre-conceived ideas about who they want their ideal guy to be. When you get rejected, it's most likely because you don't meet a high percentage of their criteria. That is to say, if they feel that things can work out between you and her, she'd go out with you, and vice versa. Or they just don't like you.

Girls know what they want, so don't assume that just because you're good looking they'd go out with you, because that's just a myth. Either that or she thinks that things will work out better between you and her as normal friend.

They don't always say no. Maybe you are going about it the wrong way. Rethink what you say and make sure that the girl is interested first.

Girls say no to guys they have no interest in... Plus, it all comes down to how you approach them...that's 90% of your battle...

Some girls prefer to get to know the guy before they go out...just casual talk...

Good luck...

Either we're playing hard to get, or we would rather be thrown into a volcano, listening to the B-52's all the way down, than go out with you.
