There is a possibility that your body already made its own immunity. Sometimes doesnt need a vaccines to be immune. Dont be too much worry. Well if you are still not sure, better do a second test.

Testing the wrong person's blood is less common today than it once was but it still does occur. I am not certain what test was done but if you were told that you are immune and you did not receive the hepatitis vaccine and assuming that this was your blood then you may actually have hepatitis B. You may get hepatitis B only from receiving blood, sexual activity, and intravenous drug use and as hepatitis B is not a good thing to have I would suggest that the blood test be repeated. If the repeat test is negative then obviously you should consider receiving the hepatitis B vaccine. There is also a vaccine for hepatitis A but none for hepatitis C.

I figure it means that you have antibodies against hepatitis B, but not antigen. This means that you have been vaccinated against hep. B or you have had the disease in the past and have recovered completely, or you had a sub-clinical infection and have become immune to hep. B as your body made antibodies to it.

It can happen, and some test come back false pos/neg for other reasons. I would have them re-test. People don't realize that labs lose peoples blood and get things mixed up. Human error.

Hi - I very much doubt that they have tested the wrong blood.

Did you have any injections at school etc?

If you are really concerned have some more blood taken and get retested. It up to you.
