yes and when i ran a pub here in oz we opened christmas day ..you would be surprised how many regulars had no family and the pub was where their friends were and on christmas day when loneliness and suicide are high on the agenda for lots of people it was always good to give them a place to go enjoy and socialise and even put on a small feed everyone deserves to be in contact with some one on christmas day even if it is at a pub !!

Pubs Open Christmas Day

Most will be open at lunch time, but then close for the rest of the day. I suspect that some will open in the evening, but not that many as they would have to pay the staff very large amounts of money to work. Someone I know is being paid £500 just for working on Christmas day.

Same as Dazza.... first draught free. I'm opening for 2 hours at lunchtime this year. Opened in the evening as well last year but just having a private party this year. All good fun. Not London I'm afraid, Hastings!
Have a "merry" (in ever sense of the word) Christmas!
