I am 23 years old and I just moved across the country to go to school. I took a part time job at a clothing store about a month ago. My boss is 25 and I have been attracted to her ever since I started. The atmosphere we work in allows for alot of contact between us. We are always joking around and touching each other in playful manners.I think we have great chemistry and I really enjoy my time with her. I know it is typically a bad idea to get involved with a co-worker but I am willing to leave the job if we have a chance at a relationship. However I really enjoy the job and if the crush is not mutual, I would like to stay. How can I find out how she feels without risking a friendship if she is not intrested?

I would say yes , tell her. If you don't you may never know where this could have gone.

what's wrong with getting to know her, go out in groups or just the two of you as friends first and see where things go while you continue to work there. when the right moment comes along, ask her how she feels towards you and i am sure by then you will be such good friends that you can tell her your predicament and i am sure she will respect you for having the courage to be honest about the whole issue even if the feelings are not mutual. We like men to admit that they do not have all the answers to their problems...and especially when the problems involve us...

If you are wrong, you are going to create an uncomfortable tension at the job, you claim to like. "YES" you have the write to tell, how you feel. But be prepared to deal with it in mature way, & i hope she does to.

Ask her out as friends and go from there. You have to get out of your work environment to find out her true feelings.
