ABSOLUTELY
I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.
Good LUCK!

it's very possible
Ionce lost 12 pounds in 3 hours. It was ALL sweat, and it was VERY dangerous. The fact is this, a lot of people don't really care about whether something is dangerous or not, but one thing you can bet your money on is the fact that whenever you lose weight that fast, you ALWAYS gain it back.
The reason is that when your body loses weight that fast, it doens't have time to adjust, and your body wants to get back to where it was (the weight it has grown used to) so it retains everything you put in until you get right back to where you were before.

it is probably possible, but losing weight this way is not safe nor effective. The safest amount of weight to lose per week is two pounds, this is recommended by liscensed nutritionists. This gives a longer goal to work at, stays off more effectively, and is not dangerous if you eat healthy and exercise.

THere is no healthy way to loose that much weight in a week. You could starve yourself, but would proably pass out from malnutrition. Don't be stupid. Lose the weight slowly- through exercise and not eating fatty foods.

If you lose weight fast, you get stretch marks.
Some guys like fat girls. No guys like stretch marks. Also, dieting alone will not make you have a good body. Eat healthy and exercise.

It's possible, through vigorous cardio exercise and drastically reduced food consumption. However, this is not healthy, and it will be mostly water weight lost, it will be gained back rapidly.
