Have you ever thought this? Do you believe yourself to be such an unworthy person that God wouldn't even want to love you? (Granted, He is free of wants isn't He!) What makes you think this? Lack of love for yourself?

I didn't mean "ME" personally, people. I'm speaking for that inner voice!

There is nothing in this world you could do to make God not love you. He is God and God is love. None of us are worthy of God's love and mercy that he shows to us each day. We mess up all the time and God still loves us and cares for us. That's why it is important that we live our lives in accordance with his Word and accept his love. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us" (1 John 3:16). God's love is not based on the merit of the recipient (Deut 7:7-8; Rom 5:7-8). Because he is love, God is not willing that any person should perish, but wills that everyone repent and live (Ezek 18:32; 2 Peter 3:9)

Your feelings of unworthiness come from the devil not God.

God/Jesus loves everyone. Unworthy or not in our own eyes, not so in God/Jesus's eyes. This is the only truth we really know. Jesus loves us all. When we feel we are not worthy of love, we need to remember that Jesus died for us all, not just the; beautiful, not just the rich, not just the poor, not just the faithful, not just the believers. The New Gospel was given to us, by Jesus. What Jesus taught, was a much more tolerant way of living, than the earlier faith. Whatever else I believe, I believe that.
Yes, God does love a person like you.

Hi, very many people suffer from a low self esteem and this can be because of family or harsh treatment when young, it is then hard to see any real worth and so we tend to think of ourselves as belonging to the bottom of the pile.
the real truth is that God loves all His Children and has no favorites,He loved you into being and holds you in the palm of His hand, you are the the the dream of God made in His own image, so you must begin to become aware of your dignity in God for He has never made rubbish.
be at peace with God and yourself.

If God did not want you he would not have created you before the pillars of the earth. If you think your self unworthy and you do not love your self, then thats you. God on the other hand love you his arms are always open to receive us all we need to is go to him. What you think of your self is not 10 percent of what God thinks of his very own creation which is perfect in all ways. Low self esteem has no place here.

God doesn't "love" in the sense that humans do. God is the nonjudging, nonintervening Cosmos, the source from which all people and all things come. Like most people, you're looking outward for God when you should be looking within. Jesus's real message was overlooked: everyone is "a son of 'God'", everyone can achieve perfection.

John 3:16 says that for God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, for WHO SO EVER believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. (verse3:17) say he did not send his son into the world to condemn, but that the world through him might be saved. (verse 3:18)he that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is already condemned, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten son of God..
Yes God could Love you.. God is Love. He loves everyone. He even says that at his coming it will be a dark and sad day to him, because there will be those who chose not to believe, and come to Live with him. But like any parent we have to let our children do what they want even if we know that it will hurt them in the long run.. After you know the difference between right and wrong. you are responible for your own out come. It is this way in our world and in the Spiritual world alike.. He also assures us that if any ask , did you hear that if ANY you included ask they will be forgiven. regaurdless of what most think, God the Father is not looking to find our wrong's. He is looking to see if we have received his Son whom he sent.. So no matter what you done he says if you turn from your wicked ways and ask for forgiveness he will throw your sins as far as the east is from the west and will never look on them again..
You are worth the Blood of Jesus and God is waiting to hear from you...

Not a lack of love for myself, but what I read in the Bible. I read a far different God than just about everyone on this forum, if He hated Esau, if he chastised Job, if he punished Israel, then no, there's no reason he should love a sinner like me, I'm not any more worthy than anyone else in history. I don't know why He did what he did to send His Son to take all of my sins on Himself, but I'm on my knees in appreciation for what I don't deserve! Great question.

Jesus loves all sinners (however unworthy their sin may be) to die for them and save them and give them eternal life. There is absolutely no one on earth that is unworthy enough to be loved by Jesus. Absolutely no one! We cannot love ourselves adequately and confidently until we know and experience how much God loves us. Only then we can love others AS GOD LOVES US.

I don't believe He really is free of want. He certianly wants us to love Him otherwise He would not have sent Jesus to make us worthy to spend eternity with Him. I feel unworthy all the time because I am unworthy, fortunately Jesus came to make me worthy. :) Be strong. He'll never leave you, no matter what.

Yes, God loves you very much. He sent Jesus to die for your sins. No matter what you have done he will always love you and you can go to him at any time. I myself have gone through these feelings, and the truth has really helped me. That is why I am sharing it with you.
