As above, have been hurt before in this type of relationship, what's the difference between this and a one-night stand at least you know where you stand?

No. Friends + should be people you know and trust and feel confident around, but you also know there are not serious long term plans. One nighters are with basically strangers that you may not know and certainly not trust.
Stay with your friends.

Usually a FWB (friends with benefits) is someone you have know for a while. Almost someone you wouldn't consider dating because you have known them so long.
To use a fake TV example, Pheobe (-Feebe) would be a perfect FWB for Joey on 'Friends'. They would never kiss and tell and they would never develop a relationship.
That is sort of the point, you get your 'business' taken care of while you are alone and you don't loose out on anyone interested, because you are still single. Slightly safer because you should be close enough to this person to know their sexual history.
Honestly male or female I'd recommend to you mastrabation. Only because the better you know your body the better you will be in the sack. And the more you will enjoy your next relationship.
One night stands have their place, but they are risky on so many levels, I would avoid at all costs.
It is hard to be alone. The best thing I can recommend is to participate in new activities. How can you find someone new if you do the same old things and go to the same old places?

No, it's a relationship that started out as a friendship and progressed to a friendship with occasional sex. Of course you know where you stand here. It's not a case of loneliness. It's all hormones, really. Some people (like moi) have high sex drives and low tolerance for couplehood, so they do this.

one night stand is you meet you greet and you go home. friends w/ benefits is much more dangerous. you are friends, and when one person starts to have deeper feeling and the other doesnt it can cause tension. not only that the relationship has changed cuz you have tainted it with sex. i have known ppl to have those and still remain friend, but the friendship wasnt the same. besides, if you cant wait then why, why do you have to get some. i just say respect, respect yourself and your relationships, friendships. the best thing is to just wait.

I see the friends w/ben. like masturbation, someone you can call on to get off when you want. a one night stand is similar. if you cant detatch youreslf emotionaly from the act, best not to act...

It will end with some one getting hurt. It is hard to seperate emotional feeling & physical feelings...especially for women!

a one night stand is basically self explanitory no feelings just passion or drunken sex with regrets lol no attatchments though so you cant get hurt
