Toothaches are painful but can be prevented
by take suitable precautions. Avoid eating
food which will result in the formation of acid
in the mouth, brush teeth regularly with a fluoride
toothpaste. I found the information at
http://aches.in/preventtoothache.html useful

Unfortunately, the prayer can only help once you get yourself to the dentist! Some people just never get off that local anaesthetic...

use warm water and some salt and gargle until you can get to the dentist. I do this when I have a toothache and it works wonders. make sure you put the salt water near the tooth and gargle.
