Is it diet or excercise? Or both? I've also heard that I should not do sit ups until I lose some mass around my belly. What should I do?

Both diet and exercise. Diet includes caloric reduction and eating the proper foods. Also if you drink beer or liquor stop or drastically reduce your intake...they are nothing but empty calories. Also if you drink sodas like Pepsi stop or try to use diet drinks. Each can contains about 189 calories.

And yes, I would wait to do add sit ups or crunches to your exercise program until you reduce your girth around your belly.

Stick with it as it will be worth it. Last year I dropped 50 pounds in 8 weeks but I went on a rather brutal diet and exercise program I developed. Haven't gained but 1 pound back in over a year.

Good luck.

I have done this program and recommended it for my brother, a US Marine, when he came back from Iraq after 2+ years of war in the desert and living in tanks and APCs. My girlfriend's mother died of colon cancer at age 48 and thus she went on a quest to find a way to prevent it. Since she first did the program 3 years ago, at least 10 of her friends and colleagues have done it. I am a 35 year-old male who lived a "toxic" lifestyle in NYC. When I did the fast I lost 22lbs of garbage out of the intestines and about 200 gallstones. My brother, who had considerable digestive problems, including two acid reflux surgeries, was very successful on the fast and lost about 500 gallstones and who knows how much garbage out of the tank. The results are almost as unbelievable as the miracle of the human body itself. Your skin clears up, your eyes sparkle, your discomfort goes away, and your digestion improves 1000%. MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU LOSE THE BIG BELLY - I DID.. Afterwards my doctor told me that I was in the best shape since I was 16 years old... (I also lost about 75 points on the bad cholesterol scale!) Good Stuff! Be Careful who you find to do it... Gotta be experienced and well educated in the program!! Frank Pridham is the best of the best of the best -- He lives in Montreal CA - I flew my brother up from San Diego to see him!
