i know a relationship is bad and its over, its is like a carton of bad milk no matter how many times you put back in the refrigerator and take out again its not going the change it gets worst never better

Once that question comes into the equation it's pretty much over. You could ask yourself if there's really any long term plans with this person, but it happens a lot-its over.

Once you don't have the urge to call him back and apologize even though he should be apologizing or vice versa. When it's really over, you won't look back naturally. You won't even have to try. It's just... over.

it depend upon the situation. if you are the reason who broke-up the relationship, talk to him and ask for any chances.
