I believe that Islam is more like Judaism at the moment.
They both believe in only one God. (at least in theology)
They both believe that you can go to heaven if you believe in God and do good, not if you believe in Jesus as a savior.
They both have foods that are allowed and foods that are not. (Kosher food and Halal food) They share the rule of not eating pig's meat, in any form, and that the meat they eat should be slaughtered in a certain way as well as other things.
These are the main things that I found. There must be more similarities if you dig deep.
Many Stories from Genesis are almost the same in Koran.
Ancient Jews and Arabs are Semetic peoples.
Hebrew and Arabic have similar letters and words with different pronounciations. (markaz in Arabic, and merkazaih in Hebrew for example)

But all 3 religions share doing good as a rule in life. They all have holy books. They all do prayers in some form and fasting and paying money to the poor. They all can live in peace if politicians die!

Judaism is unique in that it centers around a specific family of people. However, Christianity (pure simple Christianity) draws much from it.
The belief in one God, creator of the universe, active in the world He created.
The idea that sin and rebellion must be paid for.
And the Old Testament idea that God Himself would choose to do for mankind what we are not capable of doing for ourselves.
The major difference is that Christians believe that God did that through Jesus. Jews are still awaiting their Messiah.

Depends on your point of view. Judaism is more like Islam in its ritual and ways of prayer. While with Christianity the Torah is pretty much just the old testament.

Easy Christianity. One of the main things about Islam is that Ishmeal was the entitled son of God's promise. However both Jews and Christians agree it was Issac. Again Jews and Christians believe alot of the same things. Such as the prophecies. Islam is totally different in it's prophecies.

Also don't forget Christianity came from the Jews. Yes, Jesus was Jew and claimed that salvations is from the Jews(from him)when he was talking to a samaritan. Not to mention all the disciples were Jews. Aswell as Paul who was sent to preach to the gentiles.

@above post Christians believe in one God...

Islam.

However, the eastern churches are also quite close to Judaism. Many from the eastern churches choose to believe in the Qur'an when it was delivered.

Anything Paul branded seems to differ a lot from Judaism.

christians and jews both have the old testament in common... but the Koran is filled with many of the same stories. i'd have to say 55% christianity and 45% islam, if i had to put a number to it.

but not all chrisitians have the same view of jesus, remember... example, lds people believe they are physically separate entities.

I think Christianity has closer ties to Judaism since at one time they were one and the same.

Judaism & Islam follow similar dietary laws.
Judaism & Christianity share the same G-d.
Islam & Christianity both fight wars to convert others & proslytize.

I would have to say that Christianity is more like Judaism. I have never heard of a "Moslems for Jesus" group but "Jews for Jesus" are everywhere. Many Jews, coming to Chirst, believe that they do not have to abandon the faith of their fathers.

god bless
