This paion is almost on the top of my foot, sort of round the front of my ankle.

It's not constant but is very frequent. It is certainly not like a muscular pain or an ache.

I think it might be circulatory related but I've never had this sort of pain before and can't really describe it. It starts above my foot and flows down it quite slowly and painfully. Not to the point I can't walk but it is very uncomfortable.

Any Ideas???

Pains in the lower extremities ought to be looked at by a doctor. He or she may direct you to testing that would determine whether the pain is from dangerous blood clots.

i agree with Beth. I think it is a tendon strain. However it could be a fallen instep. Not likely to be a clot. Do get it checked out for your own peace of mind and to get some relief.

Dropped instep. Try some supports inside the shoe.

Look up a tennis coach by the name of Brett Able. he has some very good advice about Planta Fascia which may be your problem.

Just enter webtennis or Brett able in your search engine.

I have planta fascia, and it is painful. Understanding the problem is half the solution. Brett will advise face to face on his website - try it!

It could be your achillies tendon, this stretches from the foot to the ankle and damage could flow all the way up and down. Looks like a doc needs a call!
