just ummm i have this camera and it doesn't work and sometimes flash works and sometimes is doesn't and i was wondering if you can tell me, that's my only concern... but ya, saometimes's there's flashs "flash option" and sometimes there isn't.. it's probably a daytime setting, or something, but if you could tell me it'd be alot easier, and it would save me my lunch break, and actually eat...so it you could do that, it'd be like taking a bolder off me. THANKs

If your flash is set to auto, the camera will decide when to flash or not. In the flash menu, you should have settings with little icons.. A lightning bolt means flash will fire every time. A bolt with a line through it turns the flash off. The little eyeball means a pre-flash will fire to try to reduce red eye (In my experience, that feature works seldom if at all) You also may have a nighttime flash mode, which fires the flash but uses a slower shutter speed to maintain detail in the background.
Hope this helps.
BTW, the flash settings may revert to auto when you turn the camera off. So you may have to reset every time you turn the camera back on.

Your camera might be set to Auto.

This means that the camera will judge if you need the flash or not. You'll need to go into your settings and change it to manual if you want to be able to control it as needed. :)
