I have 2 perisan kittens, one 4 months and one 5 months. The problem is neither of them will wash. Anytime I source what the problem may be on the internet I just get information about depressed cats which they are not. They just seem to be lazy!! I have had to resort to bathing them as they were just so filthy!

If you anyone has any suggestions I would be so very grateful.

thanks so much

G

my friend has the same problem. she just simply covers her cat's eyes with a towel. Perhaps it works because it's more scary for cat to be able to witness what you're about to do to them

wrap your finger around a wet hand towel and wipe your lazy kitty with it (mimicking a cat's natural licking motion). I don't know if this will work for you, but the trick always encourages my cat to start licking beginning with the area I just wiped).

Trick your kitties by using a damp rag and rub them
down. Your kitties will then lick themselves in order to
dry themselves. When they do start licking themselves tell them good kitty and give them a treat afterwards. Hopefully this will train them to clean themselves. If not
ask your vet about it. They might have a problem.
