I made a new friend and I am pretty sure that soon he's going to tell me that he is blind in one eye. He tells all his friends, but the thing is that I already know. Someone leaked it out. So how do I respond when he tells me this? What is the proper etiquette?

Ask him how it happened? Ask him if it limits his activities. Then be done with it. Listen to how he responds to your questions, but do not show any disgust. After all, it's just an eye. If he's a joking type guy, after a bit you can say "hey at least if you need contacts you only have to pay for one!". But be sure he's a joker first. Just play it cool. don't make a big deal out of it.

If you still want to be friends,you can tell him that differences of appearence & related matters are nothing untill our aims R identical & hearts open. Now its upon you to decide,say or not .I feel you should tell him.

So what if he only has one eye, it doesn't make him a better person if he had 2, tell him that you know and that it doesn't make any difference to you.

Just be like "oh Im sorry about that". Its no big deal, if hes telling you all you have to do is listen and act as if it was your first time. I hope it goes okay! its no big deal dont be nervous.

Don't worry about what you know. Go with it and don't sweat the small stuff. Whats the big deal if he thinks his telling you something new.......... If you don't want to do that and keep your mouth shut then say I know.................Simple huh
