how can i motivate her to use them and not just use them for hanging clothes on? Like the iron and ironing board i got her last year hasn't seen much action.

Given the sensitivity of your gifts, you might not need to motivate her at all. She'll get enough exercise just running. As fast as possible. As far as possible. Away from you.

I suppose the treadmill and exercise bike are a step upfrom the previous year's romance-filled winners, the iron and the ironing board. You Romeo, you.

They may have been asked for, but not really wanted. You didn't have to buy them. Spring for a vacation in Fiji next time, when she asks for a vacuum cleaner to clean up after you and your friends.

U better take them back before she finds out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try asking to walk w/ u after dinner, get a gym membership for the both of u as a new years resolution thing. The money U spent on the bike n treadmill better spent on a nice gift that shows u care about her not the way she looks. She will walk right out of ur life if u give them to her!! GOOD LUCK

Boy, you just don't get it, do you.
How about you take the treadmill and excercise bike back to the store where you bought it, then buy you and your girlfriend a gym membership and go there together? And get her something that will make her feel special- ask her mom if you must because your presents are crap!

Last year you just spoilt her rotten with your present and it made her a bit lazy. Now you are telling her she is over weight and needs to exercise. If I were her I would exercise my right to give you the heave ho out of my life.
Have a nice Christmas and I hope the New Year isn't too lonely.

well i guess you can start by telling her the benefits of healthy living and about osteoporosis. And let her know DAT u spent so much money on this treadmill because you love her and she matters to you. else bro u will be having a very long year 2007

O I would love if someone got me that!
Encourage her by offering to use it with her or make a time table where she can use it at convenient times of the day. Hopefully she'll follow the routine. NEVER EVER point to a thin woman on TV and say 'you can look like that!'

If my bf got me a treadmill and exercise bike for xmas, he would get a smack in the face. Furthermore, if he had got me an ironing board the previous year, i wouldnt still be with him.

Blo*dy hell man, TREAT her, get her a gold diamond ring. sssshhh!!

Ha!

Maybe when she opens this years gift she will use the iron to smack you round the head?

you brought her an iron and ironing board ?
and now your subtly telling her to loose weight with an exercise bike ? shame on you.

I hope this motivates her to leave you

Maybe make a training plan for her that goes along with it. Maybe make a list of all the things running does good for your health, Tell her how much biking does too. I would be thrilled if you got ME that for xmas! good luck!
