It's easier to push others away than it is to risk being pushed away yourself. You're probably not being completely open and honest about who you really are inside, so when you find someone loves you, you know that they don't really know the REAL you and because you don't want to risk having them get to know you and find you unworthy of love, you push them away instead.

Realize that YOU are worthy of love. Get to know yourself, get comfortable with who you are. Pursue some things YOU are really passionate about. And start allowing others to see the real you. It won't be easy. It's going to take a lot of courage to do that, but the effects might (pleasantly) surprise you.

Remember, the acceptance / love of others can never validate you as a person. You ARE worthy, simply because you exist. And unless you accept and believe that deep down, you won't be able to give or receive true love.

God bless!

Me too. I am told (and I have come to believe it's true)that it is Fear. Fear of all the things a relationship entails, including rejection and failure. I am the same exact way and I am alone- not for lack of men trying, God knows! Unless you want to wind up like me (alone in life), get going on the hard part! Good luck!

You don't want to be hurt and or controlled by another person. You want to be invincible. You might have to wait until you feel not so invicible in some way before you feel like you really need someone and will let them through the shield.

somewhat of the two. I do most of the pushing each so often whilst i'm afraid to get too close and don't desire to get harm. and each so often i'm getting pushed away, for god purely is conscious what reason.

Sounds as you may have been hurt in the past & still have not healed from it & put closure on it. When you do that & allow yourself to love again it will be like starting all over again.

Sounds like your afraid of getting hurt.
Let your guard down and let people into your life, see what happens.
Good Luck.

you're a typical teenager. if you think you hurt them, don't hesitate to apologize. everyone just wants to be loved. they probably just catch you in a bad mood. say you're sorry and try to start again. all teenagers tend to be like that... me included! so just try to control your temper and sort out your feelings. it'll work out in the end! good luck!
