I would not agree with you - except that, yes, I do believe non-evangelical Christians and non- Pentecostal Christians are less active and less vocal about their faith.
Of course, you group together evangelical and pentecostal which is kinda like grouping together ducks and chickens - there are family resemblences but throw a chicken in the water and watch what happens. There are marked differences between the two....
god bless!!

As far as Non Christians goes, they don't believe therefore don't care,As far as Non-Pentecostals, well..I am Pentecostal (Assembly of God) and was a former Southern Baptist.
They believe that they cannot forfeit their salvation in other words they believe in OSAS (Once saved always saved)
And therefore as a result of that teaching they believe they have (fire insurance) and believe in a Monday through sat. backsliding and Sunday salvation.
that is of course not true and they will be the first to refute that and will be quick to point out that those individuals are "counterfeit Christians" or not saved to begin with, This is the result of that teaching, just by saying that your are "once saved always saved" is teaching that you have a License to sin. and they will accuse the Pentecostals of preaching a "works based salvation"
Also taken out of context.
It is a long debate, that also includes the doctrine of Election that goes into Calvinism vs. Arminianism.

Evangelical Christians are the ones who ignore Matthew 6:5-6, the part of the bible telling people to keep their praying to themselves.

I love their fervour, but many believe that there is something wrong with other peoples faith. They know a lot about the Bible and can quote it inside out. We could all learn from each other. The Evangelical church comes from America, and there are many who do not like the mainstream christian churches. So be careful!

I believe CJ, Elder Greg and Minister. before 1960's you under no circumstances heard a catholic call themselves "kept" or "charismatic". The catholic charismatic flow began in 1967. So it comes as no marvel that now they are going to commence to call themselves "evangelical", too.

To every man his own faith. But God save us from the intolerance of born again"Christians". I've never met a tolerant one yet.
I'm sorry if that hurts, but please leave the rest of us sinners to live our lives.
Same applies to reformed smokers. Wait till you see how many of them become moral vigilantes when the smoking ban is implemented.
