I've known my friend for about 5 years now. We started getting closer when I really liked her, which was about 2 years ago. She turned me down at the time because we were too good friends. So I stopped at the beginning of this year, yes it was that long. However recently my feelings for her have started up again. She knows this and a few weeks ago told me that she actually likes me a bit too. I was pleasently surprised but she also says she doesn't know whether she can see us like that. We're very close as friends, we both like each other, but she can't see us like that, I can kind of understand what she means but I'd still like to give it a try. She's not the type to lie or mess with my head, so do you think I have a chance with her? Would she ever see us like that do you think?

go for it there's no reason as to why you have to hold back,if she likes you she will give it a try just like you want it to, if it does'nt work out i cant see why you both still cant be freinds if your freindship is as strong as you say it is it. I think it will work out for you both as it has for me! GOOD LUCK!

I think that if a relationship has got a chance in this life and survive yet be happy with one another whilst surviving, then it would be a relationship like yours and hers. Its perfect to get a solid trusting relationship going. BUT, you are risking your friendship which would ultimatly never be the same again if you chose to go down that road. So think carefuly, but ifyou both want each other in that way, then the time will come i promise you.

Well you've seen some progress from the past ,right? SO there may be a chance that she'll thru time start to love you...giving her more time will be good..and you may be surprised..OR she may already like you very much but do not know it..or want to admit it...so give it time...it's all a matter of time and place..good luck

She obviously values your friendship and is finding it very difficult to see you as anything but a friend. If you value her as a friend then you must treat her as a friend only, don't put her under any kind of pressure otherwise you could lose her for good. Good Luck.

mate sometimes you just got to accept that being friends is as much as she needs right now.! but dont give up on that though. this could be the one friendship that you'd regret losing, stick with it you knever what the future holds.

Honestly, no. She has her mind set that she doesn't want to ruin the friendship.
