I read in a book. When the birds stand on a one leg show the bird is very relax. some times bird want raising one leg strain or for make one leg warm. I have two love bird & some times they stand on one leg.

I learn in a e book. on an identical time as the birds stand on a one leg coach the rooster is extremely relax. some cases rooster choose raising one leg stress or for make one leg warmth. I relatively have 2 love rooster & some cases they stand on one leg.

My bird does it too. I guess it's to rest it, but I'm not sure. He's never lifted both feet off though. He does chew perches from beween his legs, which is hilarious when it gives!

I don't know about al birds but I know that flamingoes do it when they stand in water to conserve body heat.

im not quite sure but mine does the same thing....i think it has to do with warming itself because it doesnt have feathers on its legs which is there main insulation sooooo thats my idea
