Broke-up with a good good partner few months ago who I had feelings for. To start with I was really emotional crying, hurting etc etc. She broke up with me due to being in love with unavailable man and also picking up other blokes at nightclubs. She was 11 years older than me, i'm 24 she's 35. She is also divorced with 3 kids.

I now find myself looking at the other blokes and thinking things like, he's 42 never married and all he can do is get off with another woman behind his girlfriend's back and this other guy is 35, still lives at home with his mum and dad. I pity them, I know this is wrong but it seems to help, is this part of the healing process? I don't find myself criticising her funnily enough

maybe you seeing things differently. maybe what you see looks like failure may not be failure. Or maybe you're jealous. This is a completely normal process for after break ups. You try to see why your partner left you for someone else and you try to find that other person's faults. It's sort of a technique the mind uses to make yourself feel better. But don't be put down by this. Go out and find someone new. Trust me, there are more fish in the sea! All you have to do is just reel one in! :)

She's the one who hurt you, not these other screw ups. The bottom line is, you will get through this you're young. If you stay bitter, you could end up like her and those guys you're criticizing. You were a 'boy toy' for a drunk, delusional dingbat, it's one to grow on kid.

if you were bitter you'd be criticising her... I think your trying to understand why she finds a 35 y/o looser better than you....

Yeah, it sounds like you're a little bitter - but I think its natural.
