Im a full time carer on income support and carers allowance. Do I still have to pay V.A.T. on good and services. Is there anyway of getting around paying V.A.T.

yes you still have to pay it.

Some goods such as books and some foods do not have VAT.

Services will normally have VAT if the person or company is VAT registered.

If VAT is being charged, you will have to pay it.
