My husband is a Compnay Secretary and me and Engineer,i have heard we have to start off wit low jobs like waiter, sweeper,pumps etc initially and do part time studies.it wil take 2-3 years to get a little good job..is this all tru??..Is canada a Good choice.???While i seacrhed fo articles in the net,it says Canada is the best in the world....Want more opnions from Indians settled in Canada.....please do suggest some other good place to migrate other than Canada....Please friends fo help me....

It will be difficult for both of you initially.
As an engineer you will have to recertify in Canada in order to be considered an engineer.

As for Company Secretary I would expect that some cross over training would be applicable for legal exposure.

MaKe contact with several networking groups and keep up to date on the goings on in your respective fields.

Have friends in Canada keep an eye out for you.... chances are your skills might be considered specialties and attract commensurate salaries.

Starting out as a waiters etc does not appear to be the norm as several other successful candidates I know have been able to work in apprentice positions until they have recertified in their respective fields.

That really really really depends on which province and city you are moving to. Job oppourtunities seem to be the best in Western Canada, and cost of living is probably the lowest in Eastern Canada.

Canada is the best place in the world...who says???...It's not for sure an Utopian place.
I guess it's still the easiest place - for a lot of people - to migrate to.

used to be quite good and immigrants quite welcomed.

i think as usual the muslims have put an end to that though.
