Melted Mars Bar in the microwave. Another tip, if you add 5 tablespoons of Ideal Milk in with your chocolate cake mix instead of water you will get the moistest most delicious cake ever. You can also add a little of the Ideal Milk in with the Mars Bar according to how thick you want the chocolate icing. I have won competitions with this cake. If anyone wants the recipe, please email me and I will gladly pass it on. Good luck with the cake.

A very basic chocolate icing.... need icing sugar, coco.
put about 3 teaspoons of coco in a cup, add boiling water, until its just more than a runny paste.
sieve the icing sugar in Ur mixing bowel and then add the runny coco mix spoon by spoon. can make it more chocolaty, or darker looking depending on how much coco u put in.
this is the type of icing that sets hard on a cake, eg like on brownies, if u r looking for a soft mix icing, u can get great box ones, or even ready made jar ones. and they r good.
hope it helps.

I have a MUCH better idea.... Don't use icing. Go to tesco and buy Nestle Carnation CARAMEL. Basically it's ready cooked condensed milk. Open tin, spread with knife straight onto cake. You can even use it for the filling! IT'S DIVINE! Sprinkle some chocolate vermicelli (chocolate sprinkles) over top.... Hmmmmm, caramel chocolate cake. I think I'm off to bake my own right now!

Melt 150g good quality (ie not Bournville or so-called "cooking chocolate").
Stir in about 50g butter (not marg - eurghh)
Sift in icing sugar - you need quite a lot - and mix.
Let down with some milk if too stiff to spread.

I'm just about to make one - I'll cover it with Melted Chocolate (good quality cooking choc is best) and will enjoy licking the bowl out! (naughty)
