This member of the carrot family is also referred to as Chinese Parsley and Coriander. It is actually the leaves (and stems) of the Coriander plant. Cilantro has a very pungent odor and is widely used in Mexican, Caribbean and Asian cooking. The Cilantro leaves look a bit like flat Italian parsley and in fact are related.

It is used in a lot of Mexican cooking, Thai food, and Asian cooking. You'll find it near the parsley and the green onions. It comes in bunches and should be $.50 - $1.39 a bunch. You don't want to leave this ingredient out!

Its a leafy green herb also called coriander and is generally used in Asian and Mexican cuisine, though of course it can be used in others. And it tastes really good.
