category c write off is basiccally only worth what someone is willing to pay for it when you come to sell it a lot of people who know what cat c means wont even touch it as for garages yes they will but they will pay you as little as they can possibly get away with my advice is if you do buy it pay no more than about £1500-£2000 reason you will be stuck with it when it comes to selling it how do i know because i work on the sales side in a garage ie valeting them ready to be sold take my idvise buy it cheap or even better leave it but ask yourselve this who repaired it?when did they repair it?what guarantee does it have on the repair?what problems has it had since?take it for a good test drive and while doing so take the advise i gave to jazzette on buying a car good luck

I've seen cat c cars sell for the full retail price in some auctions so if your trying to sell it it could be a good idea to of load it there.
