i agree in freedom of religion , and poppins is right , it doesnt belong here on Y!A, if your seeking enlightenment , there are chatrooms and forums, if you want to know things about your religion , thats fine too , but im pretty tired of seeing ,"the martyrs are going to hell" and "why are there so many sinners on Y!A " people cant accept the fact that there religion might not be the religion written in stone so they fight and complain about other religions......the fighting doesnt belong here , ill respect a wholehearted question about religion , ill either post my opinion briefly or not comment at all , but when i see things like "kill the infedels" and "the agnostics are going to burn" it kinda makes me mad

I wish Yahoo would ban all these questions!
I'm sick of all the arguments & disagreements.
I'm not religious & I don't hate any religion or the people in it. But some of the questions & answer regarding religion get out of hand & offend people!

it is but natural. its an open forum afterall & noone has the intention of 'flooding'.
As much as there is offensive speech/mud-slinging, even if 10% of these debates yield productive results and one in ten persons go back with useful informative answers, then the goal is achieved.
And those who feel offended/bored/sick of it, may well not be a part of it!

Are you kidding? It makes it worthwhile. i mean, this is the cultural section as well as religion and spirituality, and it's painting some picture about our culture right now. As long as they're coming on here and getting answers they don't expect from the atheists, agnsotics and the pagans then we are at least teaching them that there are other points of view out there, and that can only be good.

Why do people have to bring up religion. I have mine and you have yours. If you want to believe in a god and how many gods its up to you. I still say there is only one god for all, and it should NOT be disgust here at all. That is not what this is used for.
