I mourn for it and even hated singing sinnce then. I want my voice to be back so ill sound a girl since its what Ive been used. One day luckily I discovered singing in fallsetto and my wish was made true. Now I can even hit those whistle notes but Im worried if Ill lose this again. Will I lose this? Will my larynx enlarge as I go old? If so What should I do? Im now 15 and I currently enjoy my voice but honestly Im so worried. Help me

Time changes a man..... One cannot stay the same because of time...... You will become better with age, so worry not about the sound of your voice.... Just love who you are and make adjustments to your self as time allows......

Be happy with yourself...... Change will happen.....

If you really really really REAALLY want to go back to the way you were, you can castrate yourself. That's what the castratis did way back when (1500's if I'm not mistaken) to preserve their soprano voice. Highly highly NOT recommended though. Plus, I think it's illegal, and I think you would have a hard time finding a doctor that would actually do the required surgery.

Anyways, I would get a good voice teacher, and stick with developing and maintaining your falsetto voice. Much less painful.

Depending on your voice (and not on your desire), you may be a countertenor. This will only be evident, though, when you're like 25 (both male and female voices change from puberty through their mid-20s).

Get a voice teacher and explain this to them. Countertenors develope their falsetto into their adult lives. There are many roles in older operas for countertenors.

Otherwise, learn to love the voice you're getting and leave those high notes in your past. It's possible you're love those low notes in time.

Good luck.

boys develop voice at your age... you will have to adjust to it. i'm assuming that you want to be a singer so never abuse your voice. it's good that you learned how to sing falsetto but remember to use all your external and internal muscles properly so as not to abuse your singing mechanism. never sing with your throat. use your diaphragm.. you will have several years 'til you develop your adult voice so it is good to wait for it and for now just sing what you can sing and if possible join a singing group that you think will help you sing properly and help you develop your skill. Do not hate your voice. and being fat is not much of a problem to singers. there are lots of fat singers who sing well (even better singers than the skinny ones). singing does not depend on your size but on how you do it. ask someone who can help you develop your skill

Defiantly enjoy your voice for as long as possible. Don't worry about when you'll lose it or even if you'll lose it!!! Have fun while it lasts and when it's gone embrace your new voice and take care of it like you do to your voice now. If not you'll regret ruining this new voice which could be just as great as your old one!

I think when guys get older thier voice get deeper and lower. I don't think you can get a higher voice. Maybe practice? Sing from the lowest you can to the highest and do that everyday to see if you get higher. I'm a girl, I don't really know.

You know, hundreds of years ago there used to be whole choirs of boys who, when their voices started to change, were neutered so they could go on singing high notes.

I ain't worth that, my dear! Be content to grow to manhood as Mother Nature intends.

You will always be able to sing falsetto, but it will grow increasingly false and comic. Let it be.

It has nothing to do with how thin or fat you are. It's about the lengthening of your vocal chords in puberty. And that's permanent.
