This country once used a program called "Operation *******" after WWII that sucessfully deported over 1 million illegals. It would be nice to start this program back up and do it again to get rid of the 12 million that are here now.
One could simply get licensed as a bounty hunter and then force suspected illegals to show proof of citizenship or be turned into INS.

The operation was called "operation wet back" and it provided jobs for returning vets from the war. Sadly racial profiling is necessary and would have to be used. I am just tired of my tax dollars going to pay for these people to be educated in "bi-lingual" school systems, to pay for signs to be put in both english and spanish (especially when never in history have we catered to any nationality, if you come to our country then learn the language, we didn't do it for the french, italians, germans, or the irish), illegal imigrants are about to have the right to social security and some already recieve welfare, and not to mention the fact that they pay no taxes. But even legal imigrants don't have to pay taxes for the first five years.
Oh yeah, illegals are required by law to register with the selective service if they are males between the ages of 18 and 25, if they don't then that is a felony. That in itself is enough to get them out of here.

How would you find them? I'm serious and mean no disrespect. I understand that concentrating on hispanics would yield great results, but could you do it without stepping on the rights of citizens? I think we should concentrate on social services and the employers of illegals. Also the people who rent to them and give them loans for homes and businesses. Enforce the laws and concentrate on the places that illegals can be logically and legally found. Did you mean 'Operation Wet Back'? It did work, but as I've heard many people who were citizens were hurt by this.

That could turn into a big problem. Not all people have the temperament or education to make those kinds of decisions. That's why its best left in the hands of the law enforcement officers who are trained to do their jobs.I don't think that's a good idea at all.I am anti illegal alien but I'm not going to use that as an excuse to abuse the rights of legal Americans that might be suspect because they look or talk different than I do..No there are far too many racist that would use this as an excuse for their bigotry. Its not about race to me its about the harm being done to the American way of life by law breakers here illegally.

No, there is no reward and even if you do turn in an illegal alien these days NOTHING is done about it. If they wanted to find and deport illegals, the INS could do that easily. Contrary to popular belief, many illegal immigrants have jobs and pay taxes. They could compare IRS records to INS records and find millions of illegals. But they don't. Deportation is a long process that isn't cheap. It's cheaper for the government to pretend they can't find them.

I have often wondered what the Homeland Security is for?
Thought they was suppose to take care of all the illegals?
I called them to report some illegals and there was nothing they could do about it.
City and local authorities are the same way.
