A host of possible reasons:
1) They are commitment phobic
2) They are sampling what's available in the market before they commit themselves to the eventual one.
3) Their partner doesn't satisfy them in one way or another, so they've gotta search elsewhere to fulfill whatever they are deprived of.
4) They think their girlfriends won't find out
5) They think their girlfriends will forgive them
6)They deliberately cheat on the girl so that she'll finally ask for a break up
7) They feel inferior to their girlfriends, so cheating is one way to get even
8) They are visually stimulated, maybe their girlfriends aren't 'beautiful' enough for them

I'm sure there is a million and one reasons but for the most part... There are a ton of stupid girls that are either niave enough to not catch them, or dumb enough to let them come back... Either way, I know this absolutely sucks to say, but the guys who have been cheated on by someone they actually cared about... are about 99999 times less likely to cheat on a great girlfriend! So, find someone who is genuine and trust your intuition!! There's good guys out there, you just have to pick them out yourself!!

Ive been with my girl for almost a year and i am also in college and I will never cheat on her. I value honesty more than blowing a load any day. When you love someone nothing is better than hearing her voice and that is all I need to reject any girl. just my 2 cents

Well either they are real pricks, or the girls they are dating are real bitches, or maybe a combination of the two. Either that or the guy is a nymphomaniac, which really happens from time to time, but is probably used more as an excuse than because a person really has that problem.

Scientists have not yet discovered the faulty gene which makes men cheat, so it shall remain a mystery til they do!!! However, it may have something to do with the thing in their pants & getting those "notches on the bedpost".

first of all they are not real friends, many girls expect to change the guys. Find out what attracted you and bought you together, just be ,dont expect,
real girlfriends/boyfriends dont cheat because they are best friends and only want the best for each other

guys cheat on their girlfriend if there is some gorgeous girl and a guy fell COMPLETELY in love with her and this gorgeous girl has got everything you need and your girlfriend is missing something. THAT IS WHY GUYS CHEAT

Because guy's look at life differently, they want to 'lay' everything in sight! Whilst females are more mature, all they want is a steady relationship with one guy, to settle down with. Well! some of them do! lol.

Because they always think they can do better, and most of the time they can't. They just can't accept that they meet a great girl when they're young. Which is why most of them come running back. Thankfully most women don't take them back
