To begin with, the DaVinci Code was FICTION!!! It was written with a few facts thrown in for good measure. The mark of great fiction is when it could actually happen. Tom Sawyer is fiction, but it could have happened. Little Women is fiction, but it could have happened. All of Agatha Christie's books are fiction, but it could have happened. Get with it! Read the dust jacket on the books you pick up. They tell you whether they are fiction, fantasy, romance, sci-fi, etc.

The Da Vinci Code makes the claim that Jesus had a family, that his bloodline continues to this day and his descendants are protected by a sacred and secret group.
There is little to no reference that I can recall to his Second Coming.

I think Nostradamus beat Dan Brown to that one.

Da Vinci code is fiction. Koran does not agree with Jesus, so we cannot accept it.

It's a story. A work of fiction. Dan Brown is not prophetic. He's simply a decent writer who does his homework.

No, it's more like lies.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Actually, a lot of people asked that. No shame in critical thinking at all. Good for you.

DVC is fiction though. Ask with abandon, believe with caution.
