No. Nothing on this earth is better than the promise that is in Christ.

The good news is, you don't have to forsake Christ to have those things. You can love and serve him AND have those things too. He loves us like that!

No, for the following reasons:
If God wanted me to have that kind of job I'd get it anyway :D
I am a woman so a beautiful girl would have no effect on me :P (but a man wouldn't tear me from God either)
and a costly car is every car! I haven't found one that isn't costly yet.

The thing is, God can give us those things anyway, some of us just don't think to ask for it!
Plus if i had a million dollar job, i'd end up giving most of it away, there would be plenty of people more in need than me.

At the end of the day, Jesus means more to me than anything in this world, and one day, because of that, I'll be in heaven with Him!!

Oh sweetie no! This would be the worse thing anyone could do. I would never give up Jesus for any amount of money. Besides, I drive a nice Pickup Truck, I have a good husband, and we both make enough money to survive. This is what God has given to me and I appreciate it. I would live in a cardboard box before I would deny Jesus. I witness Jesus like this because He is the only one I know who died for me so my sins would be forgiven and I can have everlasting life.

NO WAY

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Timothy II 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Yes I would, because I'm no different than every other American in this God-forsaken country. Besides that, I may be able to get some relief from my back for a million bucks. All I get from God's little helpers is, "I'll pray for you." Thx fckers. If that's the God you want me to pass up a million bucks for, sorry amigo....
Now if you wanna trade me that beautiful girl for an honest one, we may be able to talk about going that route too. I can find my own good job if I had that million bucks, and there isn't a car that impressive.

I'm not a guy, but I'm going to answer anyway. No, I wouldn't because if you did get all those things chances are they would end up corupting you. And it's your love and faith in Jesus Christ that gets you to witness.

Of course not. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world if he looses his soul. Those things are only material things they are not real, you can't even take them with you when you die. Yes, we all die some day and then you will see every thing for what it really is. A great man once said, if your eye is simple your body is full of ligh, but if you eye is wicked your body is full of darkness, so be aware that the light in you might be darkness..

Anyone can stop but we are told "count the cost before following Jesus"

Whether that be sex, drugs or Rock&Roll it doesnt matter. Anyone who begins plowing the field and leaves is not good for anything in the kingdom of GOD.

Yes and yes and yes.

Because faith would not give me a million dollars, a good job, a beautiful girl and a costly car. It is that simple.

Why would I stoop for such little things when I have been given everything by God? Seems very foolish and stupid. There's a whole world of people doing it. Their reward is with them!
