Elijah was a prophet of God. But there were many prophets of Baal, another god. So, one day he called them together and said to them, "Call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
So they did. While the prophets of Baal called out for a long time for their god to send fire down, nothing happened.
Then Elijah put water on his bull and called to the Lord, who sent fire down and burnt the bull.
Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except though me". What do you say to that?

Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God and the only mediator between God and man--the second Adam and the replacement as our human dad for any who will recognize and accept his sacrifice of his perfect human life in their behalf.

i say that ... whatever God you believe in is true for you
no one can say that one God is any more or less valid than someone elses
that one book doesnt hold any more or less truth than another
that no one can KNOW for sure that what they read is truth...
but it is true for you and that is all that matters
