The two religions differ greatly. Unlike some practices of Christianity, Islam is a militant religion. Modern Muslim fundamentalists, emphasize the militant practice of Islam and try to justify their violence through religion.
See "Fanaticism: a major obstacle in the Muslim Christian dialogue. The case of twentieth century Islamic fundamentalism" in "Arab Studies Quarterly (ASQ)," Summer, 2003 by Roberto Marin-Guzman.
Today's conflict is between the radical Islamism of the Arabs and Iranians, and the moderation of the Christian West.
Another term for this is jihad.
Now which of these would you choose?

if it wasn't for christians i would be christian
if it wasn't for muslims i would be muslim
don't let people define the religion and what its supposed to be. Why do you want a religion?
to make you succeed in life
to help you when you have nothing to turn to
religion is not just a belief
it's a lifestyle.
i looked at the christian religion, went to church, and talked to pastors:
-"bring jesus into your life" -pretty much all they preached about. a little bit here and there about sex and lust and more about accepting jesus, he died for our sins.
- most of it is on sundays, and the rest of the time, i just remember jesus when i need something, in trouble, or something realy good has happend.
- it was too easy. bring jesus into your life, that's it?
Researched the muslim religion. what's up with these so-called terrorists?
- researched the religion from reliable sources, koran was a bit hard to understand the basics of the religion.
- it's common sence to me
- it's psychology, and its beautiful
- it builds character
- encourages me on doing everything from eating healthy, not telling a lie, smiling ( a simple smile is charity), and being a better person than i was yesturday.
- it's a lifestyle that made me excited for the morning.
The terrorist label:
Islam says nothing about killing people, or justifying that. you kill someone you go to hell man, sorry to break it to you.
When the prophet was going to war, he stressed and told everyone not to harm a plant, an elderly, a child, or a house. to just defend yourself.
Instead of drafting people to war, they encouraged patriotism. and if you died for your country, you were honored, and you went to heaven. that was called jihad.
not going around randomly killing people.
If you choose a religion, follow it the way it's truely supposed to be.

Both are related because both use the same text (Gospel and Quran). Only Muslims honor Jesus as a Holy Prophet and Christians GENERALLY believe he is the Son of God. So go figure.

Why? Because both religion says that humans need to believe in the One God (Muslim) or Jesus (Christianity). Because these are two different ways, then humans need to choose a religion intellectually and comprehensively, and then follow it religiously and faithfully.
So my suggestion is: find the religion that makes sense to you. The one that says God has nothing comparable to Him, nothing is worthy of worship beside Him, and He alone is God - that is the religion that God wants you to follow. The religion whose adherents submit to God.

Choose Judaism, it's the root of both of them! Islam and Christianity are the flowers on top while the Jewish religion is the root in the ground!

Read both the Bible, and the Quran, and make up your own mind for yourself.
I personally would not choose to follow the teachings of a raving lunatic ,.child molesting pervert like Muhammad.
((The sanctuary known as the Ka’bah (at Mecca In Sadia Arabia) The holiest place of Islam for Muslims, was filled with three hundred sixty Pagan idols at the time Muhammad lived))

The way I see it is that it is not about religion at all. Its about Jesus, religions will only confuse you never the less, study the religions, seek knowledge about everything and then choose what you want to believe, I hope you'll choose the right way, because there is only one way.

It depends whether you were born into a muslim or christian family or it's your personal choice as you got older due to morals or ways of life.

Christian, because I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to heaven is through Him. Jesus said "I am the Truth and the Life." I know He died on the cross to save me from my sins. Jesus is the answer.
