Yes, it sounds like you are allergic. Allergies can develop at any time. Many young adults suddenly develop pet allergies or hayfever.

It sounds like an allergy and if unchecked will gradually get worse but it may be a food allergy. Go to the docs and ask for an allergy test. I am allergic to dogs and horses but not to cats. Also my face swells up ocassionally but the doc does not know the cause.I put it down to having a flu jab because when I miss the jab, I'm ok that year. But everyone is different.

Allergies can develop at any point in our lives . You first have to be exposed to the allergen .Your body can then decide to build up an allergy or not. This however sounds more like your dogs have gotten into something and you are reacting to it. Have they been in a forest or field playing? New shampoos?

Your body changes every so many years so you may be allergic now. Have the doctor do an allergy test so that they can pinpoint what it is. It could be their shampoo or something that is on their coats. If it is them , the doctor maybe able to put you on medication.
