Can't possibly weigh 1 kilo. Water weighs 1 kilo per litre, and diesel is supposed to be less dense (ie: diesel floats on the surface of water?)
******
About 820 - 950kg per cubic metre, or 0.82kg - 0.95kg to a litre at 15 degrees C. See the link and scroll down to find diesel.

Less than a kilo, because diesel floats on water.
