i've had acne since i started middle school and know im a senior in high school ....nothing has really worked for me i've tried almost everything

Birth Control works for my sister... best thing is consult your doctor, as they have some other sideffects...

Acne is generally a byproduct of your liver pumping out the contaminates... Diet, Makeup, Oils from your Hair, and Hygiene are also major causes... but you've likely considered those...

if you need birth control, how bad can your acne be.
look, the main thing that affects acne is puberty, everything else is debatable as to weather it helps or not.
keep your skin clean and dry and one day things will clear up. you get pregnant, you won't be worrying about acne. trust me.

Yes, they can be very effective. Ask your doc to prescribe a low-dose one that contains both estrogen and progesterone.

After 2 months or so on them, you should notice an improvement.
