Going to Asia on United, can I plug in my laptop?

Going to Shanghai from San Francisco on United Airlines and was wondering if they have AC outlets for laptops etc. What would I need as an adapter?

they dont provide outlets on the plane, no.
i wish they did though, as in the 13 hour flight, your computer runs out extremely quickly.
my computer charger has always been able to work in both countries.

I got my adapter at Radio Shack, just tell them what you want to do. It works great.

nowadays all adapters are made in China
