Cream of Broccoli soup.

Boil it real soft. Then use a blender.

Into the pot it goes with water, fresh milk, corn flour, mashed potatoes. Sale & pepper to taste.

Instructions
1: Separate broccoli into stem and florets (see "Chop Broccoli" in the Related eHows).
2: Boil broccoli in salted water for 4 to 7 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
3: Steam broccoli in a steamer over boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes.
4: Microwave broccoli in a covered container, with a little water, for 3 to 5 minutes.
5: Sauté broccoli with garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes for 5 minutes.
6: Stir-fry broccoli florets with garlic and ginger for 3 to 5 minutes. Try stir-fried broccoli with black bean sauce.
7: Serve broccoli with cheese sauce, lemon juice and butter or just a little salt.

I love broccoli in a stir fry, but I also steam it...if my husband is doing the cooking then he will lightly boil it with some peas/beans

As a side vegetable I steam it -- need to have some bite left in it, don't leave it till it goes soggy.

It's also good stirfried, break into small even bite sized pieces and stiry fry over very hot heat. Add some oyster sauce at end for a delicious twist

boil the broccoli and the set aside
saute garlic in oil add oyster sauce add a little water..
then pour it on top of the broccoli... ;-)

saute garlic in a small pan with olive oil, add cut up broccoli and some water to cover it, let it simmer till broccoli is soft, you can add salt and pepper

you can boil broccoli and slightly stir fry it in salted butter.

fry slightly 4 cloves of garlic, put in 2/3 cup of broccoli in cook it for 3-4mins, then add oyster sauce stir for 3mins, (optional you can add 2 or 3 chillies for hot) then add salt to taste.

you can steam it in a pot on the stove. add about 1/4c. or less water to the pot with the broccoli, cover, and simmer on low heat until tender. there are also steaming bags you can buy at the local grocery store in the seasonings sections, or near the gravies.

I have always boile in a lightly salted water until still firm yet tender. Serve with browned/blackened melted butter over the top or melted cheese..

i like to add broccoli to my stir fry dishes with some oil.. and you can always microwave it with a bit of water. Then add salt and pepper. YUM
